Please join us this Wednesday evening for a presentation by Vanessa Delnavaz, M.A., Collection Manager of Invertebrate Zoology at the Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History. Vanessa will highlight the curation of invertebrates at SBMNH:
"The Santa Barbara Museum of Natural History (SBMNH) houses millions of specimens in its Invertebrate Zoology Collection. To make these holdings accessible and of use to research and education communities, many aspects of collections management and digitization are necessary. Learn what is involved in maintaining a natural history collection, along with the highlights of the SBMNH Invertebrate Zoology Collection, how you can become involved, and how the Museum’s holdings can be beneficial to you and your research."
The talk will be held at the Cheadle Center for Biodiversity and Ecological Restoration (CCBER), which is located under Harder Stadium (Bldg. 578), Wednesday, February 12th, 5:00-6:00 PM
